Ben "Paragon" Gorman

Ben "Paragon" Gorman is one of the most influential Perfect Dark players ever. He was one of the first champions of Perfect Dark, first gaining championship in points on September 5, 2000. He held the championship for 558 of the next 583 days. He also became the champion in total time on September 24, 2000, and held that position for an amazing 577 of 579 days.

His accomplishments include achieving many world records and inventing numerous tricks and strategies. He is the only person to have held all 21 Perfect Agent world records simultaneously. He strategic contributions include the Defection glitch, opening doors through walls (see Extraction), and the pause trick on The Duel.

He also played Goldeneye, peaking at 7th place and Mario Kart 64, peaking at 43rd, though his main gaming interest post-PD has been the Half-Life mod Team Fortress Classic, where he became one of America's best players during the game's prime. Currently Paragon lives with Zeebo and plays a ton of online poker.
