Ben "Paragon" Gorman is one of the most influential players in the history of The Elite.

He also became the top ranked player in time on September 24th of the same year, and held that position for an equally amazing 577 of 579 days.

He is the only person to have held all 21 Perfect Agent world records simultaneously(on February 16, 2001). His strategic contributions include the Defection glitch, opening doors through walls (see Extraction), and the pause trick on The Duel.
