History
Adam Bozon started speedrunning on GoldenEye in January 2006 after finding videos of Bryan Bosshardt's Dam Agent 0:53 and Ilari Pekkala's Aztec 00 Agent 1:54 on the Internet. He had done some GoldenEye speedrunning back in 1999 but never had access to videos or world record strats so his times weren't very good. All he had to compete against were PRs that other people, such as Elite members Matthijs ten Ham and Steven Zwartjes, had sent into Nintendo 64 magazines.

He joined the rankings in Spring 2006 when he started to get some better PRs. He managed to get 2:22/2:22/2:21 on Statue which was good enough for 5th place on the Statue leaderboard despite only being ranked about 100th overall at the time. He continued to move up the rankings and got Surface 2 Secret Agent 0:55 to earn his first world record in November 2006. He has had a few more world records since then, the best being his 0:37 and 0:36 on Runway 00 Agent using the difficult grenade strat, both of which had been untied for well over a year by Bryan Bosshardt.

Ryan Koch also added him to his rivalry in 2006 which helped him to get to know some of the other newer improving players such as Axel Zakrisson, Graham Maddocks and Henning Blom who are all still good friends with him today.

The other GoldenEye players that he has met are Graham Maddocks and Axel Zakrisson.

About Me
Adam lives near Nottingham, England. He is 30 years old and work as a website developer/computer programmer. He still plays GoldenEye most days and is ranked in the top 30 but has had more success on the Licence to Kill (LTK) and Dark Licence to Kill (DLTK) settings. His favourite levels are Control, Statue and Jungle and most hated levels are Archives, Train and Depot.

He usually watches one or two films a day and has watched over 2,000 different films including all of the IMDb Top 250 and Best Picture Oscar winners. He likes action and thriller films best and his favourite films are Speed, Cool Runnings, GoldenEye, Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan. His favourite actors/actresses are Bruce Willis, Sandra Bullock, Cary Grant, Jackie Chan and Audrey Hepburn.

His favourite types of computer games are usually racing games and adventure/role playing games. The game franchises that he likes best are Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana, Zelda, F Zero, Wave Race, Mario Kart and Civilization.

When he was younger, he took part in the England Chess trials for his age group and finished equal second and went on to represent England a few times but doesn't play much now.

Normal Mode
Adam is currently ranked in the GoldenEye top 30 on the world rankings and has recently moved up to second place in the UK rankings behind Luke Pettit on points and Graham Maddocks on time. He still has a few really bad PRs and even some levels that he has never even watched a video of yet so he should be able to improve his ranking in the future.

He started using control style 1.2 in 2011 and bought an NTSC console in March 2012. Since then he has been working on some of the NTSC advantaged levels, especially those with some of the weaker world records and has achieved three tied world records since then to go with the one he already held. His current normal mode world records are Dam AG 0:53, Runway SA 0:23, Streets AG 1:13 and Cradle 00A 0:36 but he will be playing for some more world records such as Streets SA/00A, Statue, Bunker 2 AG and Runway 00A in the near future now that he has an NTSC console.

He is one of the most reliable players for providing proof of his videos and nearly always posts the video together with the time when he gets a new PR. He has proven every PR that he has had since early 2007 and is 59/60 proven on normal mode (all except Silo 00A 2:33), fully proven on both LTK and DLTK and has proven every world record he has had on turbo mode.

Licence to Kill Mode (LTK)
He first started playing LTK mode in late 2006 and has completed all 20 levels. In October 2009, he overtook long time LTK champion Garrett Sellati and has held the #1 ranking ever since. He has held thirteen of the LTK world records and currently holds nine (seven untied). His LTK world records are Runway 0:44, Silo 2:13, Statue 2:29, Streets 2:59, Train 3:15, Control 4:38, Caverns 3:11, Cradle 0:34 and Aztec 2:18.

Dark Licence to Kill Mode (DLTK)
He first started playing DLTK mode in late 2006 and has completed sixteen levels. In January 2010, he overtook long time DLTK champion Ilari Pekkala and held the #1 ranking for a while until Ilari completed Cradle to regain his #1 ranking. This is the mode he likes playing best and has had most success with. He is currently ranked second behind Ilari Pekkala and has held eleven of the world records and currently holds seven (all untied). He is having a break from DLTK for a while to concentrate on normal mode but will go back and try the levels he hasn't played yet to try and get the #1 ranking back and improve some of his other times and world records in the future.

His greatest GoldenEye achievement came in January 2010 when he became the first proven player to complete Train DLTK. His DLTK world records are Dam 9:08, Runway 0:43, Surface 1 2:06, Train 29:00, Control 12:03, Caverns 8:54 and Cradle 0:55.

Silo DLTK
Silo DLTK is the once level that nobody has completed so far and very few have even tried or believe is possible because of the 8:30 time limit. Henrik Norgren started a discussion about possible strats in Summer 2011 and a lot of progress was made and it looked a bit more likely to be completed. Adam made a strat for the first half of the level that he believes is probably about 10-11 minute speed overall. Since posting the video for that, he has found a few strat improvements such as a quicker and safer third fuel room strat and has a better understanding of which guards are more likely to have grenades and how often. Those are useful because they were the main two reasons he stopped playing it in 2011. He thinks that with a few more strat improvements and lots of practise to get up to speed on the second half of the level, then he might not be too far away from the 8:30 time limit.

Turbo Mode
He played this a lot early in 2007 but don't enjoy it as much so hasn't played it much since. He holds nine world records (one untied) but nobody ever plays this league or updates the rankings any more.

My 5 Favourite PRs
5. Runway DLTK 0:43 - This is the only DLTK world record that beats the LTK world record. It's a really frustrating level to play and the strat relies heavily on two guards running in the direction you want on the same go, which rarely happens. It can take about 10 hours just to reach the end of the level alive with the strat I used and then you have to hit three drone guns and the missile battery as well when there's hardly even time to line up your tank shots.

4. Silo LTK 2:13 - This is easily the LTK level I've spent longest on. It's one of the hardest LTK levels to complete anyway but to speedrun makes it a lot harder because of all the risks you have to take. It took lots of practise to learn exactly where all the guards are going to be because being a few tenths of a seconds too early or late getting to a certain part of the level can result in completely different guard positions.

3. Runway 00 Agent 0:36 - This took me 110 hours to get. I had 11 x 0:37s and hundreds of near misses on failed 0:36s. It requires a very underplayed strat that has very little margin for error which takes loads of practise and patience to complete. I'm planning to try for 0:35 sometime now that I'm using control style 1.2 and have an NTSC console.

2. Caverns DLTK 8:54 (got this twice) - This is easily the DLTK level I've spent longest on. The level is not as difficult to complete as people think because once you're past the first room then the rest isn't that hard if you use a cautious strat but it does get very difficult when you're speedrunning and having to take lots of chances. I remember struggling a bit to beat the 00A 9:30 cheat target time back in 1999 so it was great to beat that on the DLTK setting.

1. Train DLTK 29:00 - This was a level I thought would never be done. Although it's only a mediocre time because of the cautious strat I used, it's still my best PR because of the difficulty of the level and being the first proven player to complete it makes it more special. It requires so much practise and concentration because one tiny mistake on the whole level and you're almost certainly dead every time. Also the lack of good hiding places, a few places where you have no choice but to take big risks, random guard positions, unpredictable guards, ammo shortage and nerves unlike anything I've experienced on any other level all add to the difficulty. It took me around 80-85 hours to complete. A more aggressive strat could get around 20 minutes but I don't know if I'd ever want to go for lower.

Cradle DLTK 0:55 is probably my best time but it's not one of my favourites because it's a level that is about 98% luck/2% skill and the run was the luckiest I've ever had on any skill level.
