Ben "Paragon" Gorman is one of the most influential players in the history of The Elite.
He was the third player to reach the top of the Perfect Dark rankings, after SnapDragon and Marsh, first gaining the championship in points on September 5th 2000, a position he held for 558 of the next 583 days. He also became the top ranked player in time on September 24th of the same year, and held that position for an equally amazing 577 of 579 days.
Ben's accomplishments include achieving many World Records and inventing numerous tricks and strategies. He is the only person to have held all 21 Perfect Agent world records simultaneously. His strategic contributions include the Defection glitch, opening doors through walls (see Extraction), and the pause trick on The Duel.
Ben also played Goldeneye, peaking at 7th place and Mario Kart 64, peaking at 43rd, though his main gaming interest post-Perfect Dark has been the Half-Life mod Team Fortress Classic, where he became one of America's best players during the game's prime.
Currently Ben lives with Greg Lavery and plays a ton of online poker.
