The DY357 Magnum is an old-school sixgun revolver, similar to [[GoldenEye 007|GoldenEye's]] Cougar Magnum. It is accurate and very powerful - it packs enough of a punch to pass through doors and kill most enemies in one (torso) hit on Special Agent. However, the reload sequence and the fire rate are both slow, and the shot action itself is rather delayed. This delay, which is almost a whole second, is what makes the revolver difficult to wield, particularly during a speedrun. Why waste time pumping three tedious Magnum rounds into an enemy on Perfect Agent - or lining up a headshot and possibly missing - when you can just mow him down in 0.5 seconds with your Falcon 2?
