Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is a 3D FPS released in Jan of 1997 for the Nintendo 64. The series continued with Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. It is considered to be the first credible 3D FPS on a console and loosely follows the plot of the comics of the same name.

Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Turok competition. The current proven World Record speedrun with death abuse is 1 hour and 2 minutes 54 seconds, done in 9 segments, achieved by David "marshmallow" Gibbons on April 9th, 2004.
