Cowen "DarkLight93" Hames (born 06/12/1994) has become one of the best and most known speed runners of 2008. Starting with Blast Corps in 1997, he is also one of the oldest active speed runners today. Currently he is ranked as the Best 007 NightFire player in the world, with 4,182.21 Total Points, and the Best 007 Everything or Nothing player in the world, with over 9,000 points. Since March he has gotten good times on NightFire, including 6:31 Agent Countdown. His 1:59 Double Cross 00 Agent is considered the best record in the game. The best score in the game, Chain Reaction 1,392,376, also belongs to DarkLight93. His best level has been recognized as Equinox, as he has 1st in all 4 Categories for the level. He has a time of 1:57 Double Cross Agent, which is in 2nd place behind Steven Lee's 1:50. He currently has 1:52 for operative, as the run of 1:50 was determined to be a mistake as the real time was 1:54 and the recording software blurred the number. This record is 2nd behind Steven Lee's 1:50. He has the best score on the level at 1,317,985. He has dominated NightFire, holding 1st of all 4 charts in the game, Operative, Agent, 00 Agent, and Scores. He is also 1'st in the Medal Table, having an incredible 31 Gold Medals, beating the previous record of 30 held by Ben Southward in 2005. He also has 11 Silvers and 4 Bronze. He has been playing NightFire since 2002, and Goldeneye since 1999. He started playing TWINE in 2000. He is ranked 14'th best at TWINE, and 135'th at Goldeneye. He just started playing 007 Everything or Nothing again, getting good times on all 111 submissions on CyberScore. He has created a series called "The Untold Story" which is basically a run of the game with cutscenes and more realistic gameplay. This has just started to get famous, as other people are now making runs like this on other games. The first Untold Story was 007 TWINE back in 2007. DarkLight93 started out by picking up "Blast Corps" back in 1997. Even though he was only 3 Years old, he loved the game. 2 Years later his parents bought him Spiderman 64. The next year they bought him 007 The World is Not Enough. Ever since TWINE, DL has loved 007 games. He used to play TWINE every day, for 5 hours. After finding out about Super Mario 64 and 007 Goldeneye, he started to notice better scores for faster times. In 2002, as soon as he picked up NightFire, he became a Speed Runner, with over 400 records DL has only started to put his records on the Internet. You can find him on YIM (Yahoo instant messenger) almost 24/7. He is a fan of Metal music.
